My Family

Here is my son's first artwork for the year 2011 on his new drawing pad that we gave him for his 8th birthday. Very happy to say that he thought about drawing his family, no pressure from me, I didn't ask him to do this, *wink, *wink... yah right! I have always been asking him to draw one for me and he finally gave in :). That's why I am soooo thankful. This drawing made my day!

And now I present to you my FAMILY.

Each one of us took turns in coloring this family pic.

And here is another family drawing my son did last 2010.

Books my kids are reading now - December 2010

The First Brave Knight - Chapter Three

The 3rd installment of "The First Brave Knight". My son has now put names to the characters, haha , which makes it quite confusing now .. but hey, the kid just started writing... He told me that he did this in school on his free time and has been racking his brain to come up with ideas for his "chapter 3".  Awww... the effort. Good job, son!

Artwork - Hands

I am so thankful for the art module in my son's class. It has enhanced his drawing skills by the new techniques he learned and made drawing even more enjoyable for him. He now realizes his talent in drawing, maybe because of the praises he gets from his drawing, may it be from the family or from school. He knows now that when we say his drawing is "nice", it is the truth , and not because we said it just because we are his parents. He is even more motivated now to practice more and hone his craft. I may not have the talent in drawing but I am sure happy that my kids are having the knack for it.

Posting one of his artworks from school - "Hands".
